Saber Accountants supports Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation
HICKEY Lawyers' owner-partner Dan Marino has once again shown his acumen for making money for charity.
His recent Gold Coast Lads Lunch raised more than $30,000 for the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation - with a little help from one of Mr Marino's colleagues.
St John Lord, an associate at the firm splashed out $3750 at the auction for a surfboard signed by the late Andy Irons, the highest price paid for an item on the day.
Mr Marino bought the board for $1350 last year at a fundraiser. More than 125 locals were at the Ristorant Fellini, exceeding the April fundraiser when $20,000 was raised for Multiple Sclerosis Queensland.
